Sponsorship Opportunities

IAS 2015 offers partnership packages at various levels. Our partnerships are structured to best meet your objectives and the conference needs. These relationships can be a combination of cash sponsorship, in-kind contributions and/or marketing support. To maximize our partners support and provide distinct assets to our sponsors we offer sponsorship packages through four distinct tires, as well as customizable sponsorship packages. Benefits can include complimentary exhibition space, free conference registrations, and discounts on selected sponsorship items. All sponsors will receive great exposure and recognition for their support.

For more information please see the overview of sponsorship levels, benefits and items below, or contact Wouter Kruijs ().

Delegate Bags
USD 50,000 plus production and delivery costs

The sponsor will be recognized by the company logo next to the conference logo on the front of the bag.

Conference USB-stick
USD 50,000 plus production and delivery costs
Included: all onsite logistical services

An essential feature of the conference is the Conference USB-stick, which contains all the abstracts of IAS 2015, as well as electronic versions of the Programme and the General Information guide. The USB-stick will be distributed to all delegates from a free information counter in the registration area on Saturday 18 July, and from the sponsor’s exhibition booth from Sunday 19 July. The sponsor’s logo will appear on the USB-stick.

Mobile Application
USD 40,000

This environmental friendly initiative, developed for AIDS 2012, has become a key feature of the conference. The mobile application of IAS 2015 allows delegates to browse every important aspect of the conference programme in details directly on their smartphones.

The sponsor’s logo will be visible on the first page of the application (with a link to the sponsor’s website) and on the Menu page. The sponsor’s name will also be listed in the General Information guide and on standing signs during the conference.

Wireless Internet Access
USD 30,000
Included: infrastructure, setup and maintenance

Internet access at the conference will be offered free of charge by the organizers. The sponsor can either create a specific landing-page or the sponsor’s website will be the start page for anyone connecting to the wireless during the conference, thus offering great exposure.

Internet Café with Internet Access
USD 30,000
Included: hiring costs of computers, IT support, networking hardware, infrastructure

One Internet Café will be available in the conference centre. Located either in the exhibition area or in another area with high delegate traffic, the Café will feature computers with internet access, as well as plug-ins for laptop connections. The internet café is much appreciated and highly visible, as most delegates without access to private offices invariably use it to access conference information or to check emails. The sponsor of the Internet Café will receive high-profile exposure through:
  • Screensavers on each computer, which could feature the company’s logo, satellites information or exhibitions
  • Start page of the company’s website
  • Sponsor recognition through signage at the Internet Café
  • Opportunities to distribute promotional material
If ordered in time, the internet café can be built as part of the sponsor booth.

Espresso Bar
USD 9,000 per day plus signage cost (up to four locations available per day)
Included: skilled baristas, 500 cups

The Sponsor is given the opportunity to provide a coffee cart in the exhibition area (area will be advised by event management). Sponsorship of the coffee cart will present an excellent networking opportunity for the sponsor by providing participants with espresso coffee (restricted service times). Sponsor can provide logo imprinted on cups & napkins, table cloths or t-shirts, etc. – beverages will be provided.

If ordered in time, the espresso bar can be built as part of the sponsor booth.

Hydration Station
USD 3,500 per ½ day plus signage cost (up to four locations available per day)
Included: beverages in three flavours, 500 cups

To minimize any single-use plastic bottles sponsors have the opportunity to add a hydration station to their exhibition booth. The station offers delegates a refreshing selection of all-natural, flavoured water with no added sugar. Sponsors can provide logo imprinted on napkins, table cloths or t-shirts, etc. – beverages will be provided.

Ad in the Pocket Programme
Inside Page: USD 12,000
Included: four-colour artwork to be supplied by the sponsor according to design specifications

The pocket programme is an indispensable “quick and easy” reference guide for all conference delegates. Provided to each delegate at registration, the pocket programme contains colour-coded information regarding times and session halls for the numerous topics, together with a map of the conference centre. It also includes information about services offered at the conference.

Onsite Advertisement Opportunities (banners, pillar wraps)
Price TBD, depending on size and location

The Vancouver Convention Centre offers various opportunities for onsite advertising in the form of panels, banners, towers and many other products.

Flyer in Delegate Bag
USD 12,000
Included: distribution and logistics onsite

The flyer must be relevant to the conference and approved by the conference organizers. The flyer can feature the company’s logo, satellites or exhibitions.

Gifts (Pads, Pens, Bookmarks etc.) in Delegate Bag
USD 8,000
Included: distribution and logistics onsite

Sponsors are welcome to come forward with suggestions of their own for alternate items. Pads, pens and bookmarks are essential for all delegates, as well as popular collectible at the conference. These items give sponsors a way of providing delegates with a much-needed item, as well as a visible advertising method that the delegates will take away with them.

Flyers at Plenary Sessions
USD 5,000 per day, plus production and delivery costs
Included: distribution onsite by volunteers

Flyers will be distributed at the entrance to the plenary hall at the start of each day. These flyers could be used, for example, to advertise satellite symposium or exhibition booth.
